Supporting World Jewish Relief with a website built for growth

The challenge

World Jewish Relief is the UK Jewish community’s humanitarian agency supporting many of the world’s most marginalised communities. They assist those living in extreme poverty and empower communities to support themselves.

Following their recent brand refresh, this growing charity was in need of a new website that would meet the needs of their expanding reach. This meant creating a space where users could get to know the charity, its amazing work, and of course, encourage donor acquisition and retention.

The new website needed enhanced flexibility that would showcase World Jewish Relief’s life-changing humanitarian efforts to people in crisis, inspiring action and creating more fluid opportunities to donate. The existing site also needed some updated functionality that would give the team the flexibility they needed to take this all forward.

The solution

To help World Jewish Relief reach their new goals, we first explored how the newly developed brand elements could be applied in a digital setting. We then created overarching style rulings and applied these to the site, giving a fresh and consistent look.

Next, we worked on the site structure by undertaking our UX Discovery workshop, user research and sitemap development for clear and logical navigation. This was developed further through wireframes, a module map and visual applications, then finalised with full WordPress set-up, front-end build and the necessary third-party integrations to create a versatile site with full functionality.

The final product meant that World Jewish Relief now had a modern, accessible and easy-to-use charity website that reflected the importance and impact of their work, as well supported the opportunity for future growth.
