SEEDA approached us to produce a range of literature for CESS (Continuing Employment Support Service). It had to be clean fresh and easy to read. For the culmination of a three year IMPACTE project, we were also tasked with 'dressing' an event at City Hall in London. For this we had to create two 9 meter x 3 meter banners to hide parts of the building structure. For the final conference, following three years of work and consultation, SEEDA turned to us to produce a pack that had to be multi language and needed to guided the reader through all the work completed during the project lifetime.
The Studio Republic solution:
For CESS, we worked with SEEDA to produce this set of literature that worked with the current CESS colours. It is clean and clear providing a quick ref guide to the services provided. For their IMPACTE project, we created a montage of images showing the progress achieved over the past three years. Our main challenge was the logistics of creating a banner large enough to fill the room and then the project management of the installation. Finally, By designing a self locking pack we accommodated 4 language booklets in the one pack. We designed a booklet that would always run to 12 pages, as some languages are naturally longer then others we allowed for this by adding section image pages and illustrations that could easily be removed or altered should we need to.
