The Sea Sunday campaign has been incredible for us, we’ve had over twice as many packs as last year given out which is a massive uplift, and 40% of those were from churches who were new to us. A great job as ever by the whole team at Studio Republic, huge thanks all round.

1. The Brief

Sea Sunday was a campaign to encourage engagement with Sailors’ Society through peoples christian communities, with a build up to a specific date when people would be speaking about Seafarers and Sailors’ Society in their local churches.

2. The Result

We used a number of ways to raise awareness and get people to connect with the campaign. Through digital formats, website, social media, and emails to existing subscribers. As well as printed collateral such as leaflets and pull up banners for people to use at events. As well as promotional items, other collateral such as branded collection boxes, and items for children’s activities at Sunday schools were produced to support the day of the event.

3. Engagement

Once people have heard about the event they are directed to the landing page to download a Sea Sunday pack. As a result 180 packs were distributed which was more than twice as many from the previous year, and over 40% of those were from new churches found through this campaign.
