Please allow us to introduce the newly created ChildHope charity website.
ChildHope is an International children's charity supporting millions of street and working children facing poverty and violence in their everyday lives. We support the charity's belief, that every child deserves a life free from injustice and abuse.
ChildHope came to us needing assistance to produce a refocused, updated and evolved website that would gain more visibility, raise more awareness and ultimately get more money to support more projects.
Over the past 13 years we have always enjoyed supporting charities & not for profits and are proud to say that over the last few years this sector has become our focus.
We knew by simplifying the structure of the website, we would be improving the user experience and ultimately heighten conversion rates.
Prior to beginning any design, we like to work out the conversions points for the organisation. That way, we can make sure the user journey achieves all of these. The conversions for this site, (like many other charities) are to collect donations, email addresses (for future re-marketing), sign-ups for fund-raising events and corporate involvement (challenges), telephone calls, contact form submission, social interaction etc.
Whilst looking more visually appealing by introducing new colour palette, style and typeface selections was important, so too was creating a simpler interface that broke the key areas of the site up into easily digestible chunks of content. We knew we needed to share a wide range of content and some important statistics. Another aspect to address was the slow page loading speeds with the old site. This is something we take very seriously, aiming for 100% in Google's page speed tests. This is down to a few elements including using neat, clean code, optimizing the images (banners etc) and hosting on our servers.
The result is a fresh looking, fast loading, increased converting website for the ChildHope charity.
"You’ve really listened to what we want and need for the new site, which shows in the design, navigation and structure of pages."
