At an extremely exciting point in our 18-year journey, we have undergone a strategic and visual rebrand and work is underway to finalise our beautiful new bespoke Website. To ensure we fully capitalise on this evolution, on our success over the past 12 months and the popularity of the ‘for good’ sector, we’re looking for a talented Marketing Manager to join our team. We need someone who is ambitious, creative, strategic and experienced to make 2021 our best year yet!

You’ll work as part of our new business team, responsible for maximising the visibility, reputation and enticingness of the agency and its services amongst prospective clients in the charity sector to support agency growth. You'll work closely with and report into the Business Growth Director and will start with a blank piece of paper. Indeed, you’ll have the autonomy to design and implement a new multi-channel marketing strategy. The success of this role will be measured by how much you can increase our awareness and as a result, the number of inbound, qualified new business leads we receive.

What we’d like you to do:

  • Define and implement an ongoing agency marketing strategy, including a relaunch with our new positioning and brand identity. This will include researching, planning, implementing and measuring the following:

       - Website
       - Thought leadership content creation and curation including blogs and white papers
       - Digital marketing/SEO
       - Email marketing
       - Social media across LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram in particular
       - Arranging, attending and/or creating speaking events, podcasts and networking events
       - Award submissions
       - Public relations

  • New business development support through research into prospective clients, digital outreach, pitch support and proposal/tender document creation.
  • There may also be an opportunity to offer your skills to clients in order to expand our service offering through social media strategy, content writing, digital marketing etc. If you're confident you can add value (and/or have prior experience) offering services to charity clients in this way, please make sure you highlight this to us
  • Drive change within the team to continually improve and enhance our internal processes to support marketing

  • Producing content that is tailored to our audience - primarily charities and purpose-led companies that create positive impact in the world
  • implementing a multitude of different marketing activities as listed above, although we do understand each marketer has a different mix of marketing skills and levels of ability
  • Thinking creatively to come up with unique ideas and approaches to problem-solving
  • Finding new, relevant marketing opportunities for the agency and relevant team members to maximise our visibility
  • You will have agency marketing experience and although not expected, charity experience would be extremely valuable too  


To support you to do your best work we will:

  • Dedicate internal design, video animation and development capacity to marketing as well as the strategic and communicative support of the Business Growth Director and the scheduling support of the Client Services Director
  • Invest in paid budget for marketing where it is justifiable and measurable
  • Give you total autonomy to work from home and the flexibility to schedule your working hours around personal commitments, in addition to ample holiday
  • 21 days holiday (not including Bank Holidays and Christmas shut down)
  • Provide you with varied and meaningful work that makes a difference in the world. We’ll also want to know about the causes and issues that matter to you
  • Ensure you have all the tools to learn and develop your skills through training, events, access to resources and/or mentors
  • Offer you career progression in-line with your proven success and the overall business strategy
  • Schedule regular 1-2-1s with the Managing Director to check-in and ensure you’re happy and motivated

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience
