UK's first online radiation training goes live
Having designed and built Nukem's radiation training website, Studio Republic were commissioned to produce an interactive radiation protection training course.
This Flash based training is unique in the nuclear industry and allows workers in this field to complete mandatory training without the need to attend a half day seminar. The online course combines illustration, animation and a voice over to explain the principles of radiation protection, cintinually testing and assessing the user's progress. On completion of the course the user takes a test which combines multiple choice and written answers. This is then assessed by the course tutor and graded appropriately.
